| Cross
country running in Medstead Central School takes place in the
fall right after summer holidays are over. It goes on for about
6 weeks to 2 months. Our school has participated in cross country
running for approximately the past 10 years. We have had many
very successful candidates in the past, and many exceptional
runners this year as well . The age levels for this sport ranges
from 9 to 15. There are cross country meets all over the northwest
that we attend . We also have our own cross country meet which
is usually held at the Little Loon Regional Park's Golf Course.
Many other schools from our school division participate in this
afternoon long event, as well as many schools from the northwest
district. |
