 Garett and Briar did 2 demonstrations dealing with surface tension.Yes this paper clip floated on the water because of the surface tension between the water molecules.They added a drop of detergent which broke the tension and the clip sunk. They also did a demo with pepper floating on water and it went to the sides of a pan after detergent was added.

 

 

 

 

 

Tannis and Lauren studied the movement of water in plants . They showed how the colored water moved up to the flowers. They also did lots of research on plants and how they function.They really got to the "root"of the matter.
