MY TREE FORT

I have had a tree fort for about five years. When I started making my tree fort I was 7 years old. My first tree fort was built on the ground. I had my dad build it because I was too little. We had a table and 3 chairs. We also had a coat hanger to hang up your coat. Me and my brother had a lot of fun in it. Two years ago my brother and I started building a higher section on our tree house. We started by building the frame. We then took the  boards from the bottom and nailed them on the top section. A friend of ours from British Columbia was down in our area and he helped us with the painting and carpeting. We painted it green on the outside and green with red and white spots on the inside. When my friend was about to go back to British Columbia, Canada, we had a sleep over party in the tree fort. We had popcorn and lots of pillows. We  stayed up late into the night. The next year my brother and I rebuilt the bottom section. With boards from our old red shed. My dad made a horse shoe pit, so me and my brother took the extra grass and put it at the base around our tree fort. It grows again every year. To get into our fort  you have to go up a ladder and then you'll get to the top section. To get to the bottom section you have to go to the back of our fort and open a trap door. We used to have a table and some chairs but they got broken and stinky so my brother and I took the stuff and stuck it way out in the bush. In our Tree fort we have a shelf and a tea pot. We also collect stuff and put it in there. Some our our stuff is old baseball cards and a snowman candle. Just recently I put in a passage through the bushes to our driveway. I cut it out with a pair of shears. Hopefully some time I can build another tree fort.

Do you have a treefort? (pop up menus are for fun. They will not execute.)
