Recess

Recess is loud! There is laughing, yelling, talking and giggling. Kids are running, jumping, bouncing and hopping everywhere.Even though recess is chaos and confusion, everyone is smiling. There are two slides to slide on and a swing to swing on, a jungle gym to climb on and a sandbox to dig in. There are old tractor tires to climb on and a big play castle to play on and slide on. There is sand all around the castle. There is a pulley to ride on and three teeter-totters beside the pulley. At the far side of the play ground there are two small soccer fields where there is usually a soccer game even in winter. Behind the school there is a big hill called "The Hill". When you are standing at the top of the hill you have the sensation you are flying. In the summer there are not many people on the hill, so some people just lay on the side of the hill and talk or rest in the sun. Medstead Central School just wouldn't be the same without the hill.

When the castle was first put together it was very crowded ! Everyone wanted to play on it .

At recess everyone is happy , everyone smiles ,everyone laughs!

These are the tires.

This is a picture of the swings.

Slides are very popular at Medstead Central School !

These are my goofy friends just hanging around!

This is my sister (on the left)and her friend on the teeter-totters.

These are my friends again ,horsing around (as usual)!

When there is more snow on the hill it is crowded with lots and lots of people sliding on it .

In the spring the bushes are totaly green and kids are running in every direction.
