Hi my name is Shae. I'm doing this page about hockey. I have played hockey since age 3, well I started skating at age 3. I played my first game of organized hockey at age 5. I am now in Atom hockey, that's age 10-11. Next year I'll be in Pee wee. That's when you body check each other! In Pee wee there is a group called AA that's where you tryout for a team! This year we were in 3rd place in the standings! Our team is called the Medstead/Glaslyn Diggers. I'm the assistant captain on the team! That means I wear an A on my jersey. All it means is I go up to the referee and ask him things like why we got the penalty and why wasn't it a goal and things like that. Hockey is the best sport in the world! After school I usually go down to my pond and skate for an hour or more. We have practice two times a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We usually have our games on Saturdays and Sundays. We had about 18 games this year, and about 4 to 5 tournaments.
