Letter from St. Francis of Assisi School

Dear Grade 5 Class,
My name is Lyndsey. I am 9 years old. I like to putting on fake nails and styling hair. I have one sister (2 yrs. older) and 2 brothers both older than me. I am the youngest in my family. We live in an apartment tower block on the 11th floor. There are 2 bedrooms in our flat, so my brothers and my sister and I sleep in bunkbeds. My Mum and Dad sleep on the fold-out sofa bed.
After school I go home and do my homework and play with my sister. My favourite T.V. channel is Nickelodeon. It's a children's channel with cartoons and stuff. I go to gymnastics club after school on Thursday at the school. About 9 other kids come to gymnastics too. We're learning to do the spider, bunny hops and clock movements.
My favourite food is fish and soup. Now I have some questions for you. What is it like living on a farm? What do you do everyday? Do you get to feed animals? We grow some plants on our balcony and have some in pots in the apartment. They are all flowers. Do you have a garden outside?

My name is Brittany. I am 10 years old. I am in grade 5. In my spare time I like to play my computer and playstation. I have one brother , He is 9 and his name is Brett. I live in Glebush, well about 5 miles away. I go to Medstead Central School. I have one cat, one dog,, and hundreds of chickens. They are not mine,they are my dads. My cats name is Buffy. She is gray and white. She likes to attack things on the T.V. and she will also run into the walls. She is always hyper. My dog's name is Jethro. He is a Alaskan Malimute. He is soft and fat. When the chickens are babies they are yellow and when they are older they are white. They are very stinky. My favorite animals are cats and beavers .They are both really cute animals. My favorite food is pickles and rice. On the farm it is really fun. There is space to run everywhere. I love it here on the farm. Everyday I do something diffrent but sometimes I will play computer everyday cause my brother hogs the playstaion. I always feed the animals on my farm such as the cat, the dog, and sometimes the chickens.
