A Letter from St. Francis of Assisi School in England

Dear Grade 5 Class,
Hi! My name is Connor. I am 10 years old. I live in Southeast London. I love HARRY POTTER! It is fantastic! I have read all the books and I've just seen the first film in the cinema. In London it is very different than Canada. In London some people are not so nice. Some are very posh and rich.
My favourite things are art history and design and I like dogs. I haven't got a dog, but I've always wanted a dog since I was three years old. I just want to ask a question, How cold can it get in the snow?

I love Harry potter too!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He rules!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have read all of his books and have seen the movie too!!!! I wonder where J.K. Rowling got all of her ideas from? I also wonder how good her next book will be. If it meets her usual standards then it will be sweet!
You know whats funny? I have a cousin named Connor too, but he is only a couple of months old now!
What does "posh" mean? I really have no idea, but in Canada there are also some not so nice people around, like you said there are in London.
What is design? Is it where you design clothes or something? Please tell me, I might like it. It sounds kinda fun.
I like dogs too! I have about 5 or 6 dogs (I can't count right now because I am at school) and the breed we have is border collie. Have you heard of them? You probobly have. My dad likes them because they work well with livestock and my dad has a lot of livestock. My dad is a farmer so we live about 7 miles away from town. Oh Yeah, I forgot to tell you our town's name is Medstead and I go to Medstead Central School.
In your letter you asked how cold it can get in the snow. I will answer that question in my next letter. Does it snow in London? Do you have very many hills around London? I think I've written too much, so I will stop now. Bye!
