Dear Grade 5 Class,
My name is Caroline, I am 10 years old. My favourite things are swimming, dancing and writing stories. I walk to school every day. My house looks nice and it's comfortable. We live in a flat on the ground floor of our apartment building. There's a garden at the back. We've planted flowers in it.
I have 4 pets, a hamster (he's golden coloured), 5 fish and a guinea pig called Lucky. I was born in London. I have 4 sisters and 3 brothers. Right now, my sister, my Mum, my brother and I live at home.
After school I sometimes go to gymnastics club. When I get home after school I go on the computer. I use the computer to write stories.

Dear Caroline,

My name is Chelsea.I am 11 years old and in grade six. My class is a combined class of grades 5 and 6. I live about 20 minutes from my school. I live in the same yard as my grandparents. I live on a sort of farm with no animals. My best friend is Erin and she is in grade 5. I have one sister named Chandra and I have no brothers. I used to have a dog but we couldn't keep her. After school in the winter on Mondays and Wednesdays I have figure skating. My favorite color is blue and I love reading and writing.
