Grassroots Student Cultural Exchange:
The grade one class at Medstead Central School has paired
up with a grade five class at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic
Primary School in London England. Students exchanged letters.
In their first letters they told a little bit about themselves,
their families, farms, pets, and livestock. We look forward to
hearing from our pen pals whose letters we hear, are on their
way to us by mail.
The students are very excited to be corresponding with an older
class of students, especially from a city in another country.
This project provides the students with an excellent opportunity
to discover what life is like for children in another part of
the world, in an environment very different from their own.
